Raw GPS provides satellite data directly to your device without processing. You will always see your location with latitude and longitude. You will also see altitude, speed and in what direction you are moving. All this data will be available to you whether you have Internet connection or not. You can save your positions to view them later in Maps and see where youve been. A tour outside the reach of any network can still be saved and viewed afterwards!

If you do have access to the Internet, you will also recive infomation about the place where you are, including country, city, zip code, street, etc. depending on what is available. It is also possible to mail or SMS-message your position from inside the app.

Pay attention to the "accuracy" that shows how good reception you have, the best value will be approximately 5 meter. To improve this ensure that the device has a clear view to the sky.

Nice but...
... the shown data is no raw gps data. Although a nice app.
Promo
I gave 1 star now, (not like before there is no banner or ad) the free version is used as an introduction to the pro version. Not like before when i downloaded the free version there is no banner or ad about the pro version. Its irritating about the banner below. Thats the time i delete the free version. Some developer gave free apps without expecting anything in return.
Thank you!
Great for business travelers who want to track flight speed altitude and and heading without a data connection. Thanks!
Just the Facts, the GPS Facts
I needed to debug the GPS reception while working on a little embedded computer. Just wanted a quick check with another GPS receiver. This app was exactly what I needed.
Wish you could select units of measurment
Nice app, and it is free so how can you complain too much, but I wish it would let you select metric or English units of measurements. Seems to only display metric units.
